Our panels are designed for use on Motorhomes and Caravans, and are ideal for keeping your batteries topped up during outdoor storage as well as providing usable power during the day. Here we answer some on the most common questions we get from our customers.

Q. How do I add a solar panel to my Swift motorhome/caravan ? (2010-present)

A. With motorhomes this can be done via the PSU to maximum of 120 watts. Caravans take a solar connection directly to the battery. In both cases Swift may have prewired your van to assist with a solar installation , see the attached guide

Q. Can I connect a Solar Panel to my Auto-Trail System

Q. Can I connect a solar panel to my Auto-Trail PSU 2007

A. Yes, a solar panel can be connected directly to the leisure battery (via an appropriate regulator and fuses) or you can use a solar panel adaptor that plugs into the base of the PSU2007 and the connects to the solar regulator (See item 59066-08)
