Sargent Electrical Services is a family business founded in 1991, based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, employing in excess of 160 people. Initially producing bespoke electrical wiring harnessed and associated cable assemblies, the product line rapidly expanded and now includes complete electrical systems for caravans, motor-homes, leisure vehicles through to comprehensive building wiring solutions supplying systems for office, hospitals airports & retail sectors.

VISITORS TO OUR OFFICES & PHONE CALLS

Visitors to our office: All visitors are requested to make an appointment. This is for security reasons. When visiting, all visitors will be asked to sign in and out at reception, and in some cases, we may ask for ID (not to copy - but for verification purposes only). Closed circuit television (CCTV), operates internally and externally for security, as well as Health & Safety purposes. The information is viewed by us on a live feed and is automatically erased after 4 weeks.

Phones calls are monitored and recorded for training and quality purposes. If you do not want your call to be recorded, you can request this with the call handler. The handler, will then, place you on hold while the call recording is deactivated.

WI-FI

We have Wi-Fi on site for the use of guests and visitors. We'll provide you with the address and password. We do record the device address and will automatically allocate you an IP address whilst on site. We log traffic information in the form of sites visited, duration and date sent/received.

The purpose for processing this information is for security and safety reasons. The legal basis we rely on to process your personal data is article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which allows us to process personal data when its necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests.
